So here’s the story behind this camera. My dad brought it from Germany almost 25 years ago (you know, to take pictures of his lovely daughter
). But, he stopped shooting or whatever and the familia forgot all about it. I knew about the camera but at the time I was all about “digital, digital” and I (complete idiot) thought shooting film was a step backwards. Then I totally forgot about it, until yesterday when the thought of actually owning a film camera hit me. Don’t ask where I found it. Dad told me there’s something wrong with it, a minor problem, so I can’t wait to get it repaired and start shooting.
Anywho, it’s a Revue ML and it was actually being made in DDR (the middle of the 80′s) and as far as I have googled it, it was a cheap camera that came with the 50mm 1.8 lens. At this point, I really don’t care if the photos taken with this camera turn out to be crappy. It also comes with a 70 – 210mm lens. So, yeah
I’m happy.
